In high school, Zac named six of us girls "The Jonas Sisters" because we were so obsessed with the Jonas Brothers, and the name stuck. He teased us at school in front of the boys and always knew how to embarrass us, but most didn't realize that he was actually the 7th Jonas Sister. He'd crash our girls nights, joining in on the chatting, gossiping and heart-to-hearts. He was (and still is) one of the Jonas Sisters.
In the six years leading up to his death, Zac extended his attentiveness and passion to mental health advocacy. He was committed to fighting the stigma surrounding men’s mental health and used his Movember fundraising as a platform for raising awareness and encouraging vulnerability as a sign of strength. Zac was passionate about bringing awareness to mental health, so we are raising money in his honor.
