ZPF Evening for Good

February 21st, 2026

About Evening for Good

The Evening for Good Gala Event continues to be a night to remember! At our 2025 event nearly 400 guests spent time learning about the Foundation’s impact and were the first to be introduced to our seven new ZPF Scholarship recipients! NFL greats Robbie Gould and Tom Zbikowski inspired the crowd with stories of perseverance, leadership, and personal growth. They were joined by former NBA player, WNBA coach, and Athletes for Hope advocate Awvee Storey, who delivered an impactful message on the importance of mental health, resilience, and how the ZPF has helped the Athletes for Hope’s organization. Previous year’s speakers have included Coach Niel MacDonald with his inspiring story of resilience, and Chris Wyttenbach, Chief Program Officer of Athletes for Hope.

We have doubled the amount of money raised, from $180,00 at our inaugural event in 2023 to over $350,000 last year. As we look forward to our 2026 event in February, we invite you to partner with us by becoming a sponsor.

Our Impact

While we are a young foundation, we are proud of all that we’ve accomplished in the last 5 years. We’ve established 3 annual fundraising events which have allowed us to raise mental health awareness within the local community, invest money to support our mission, and award three scholarships to local high school students.

The Zac Plantz Foundation has also established partnerships with other non-profit organizations, including the U.S. Center for Mental Health & Sport and Athletes for Hope, to provide young people with opportunities to grow academically, socially, and spiritually as they set out to establish legacies of their own.
